About Golden Grove Maple Co.
Learn about our family's maple syrup tradition
Our Story
Golden Grove Maple Co. has been a family tradition for over four generations. What started as a small operation with just 50 taps has grown into a sustainable maple syrup business with over 2,000 taps across our 300-acre Vermont property.
Our Mission
We’re committed to producing the finest pure maple syrup while maintaining the traditional methods that have been passed down through our family. Every bottle represents our dedication to quality, sustainability, and the rich heritage of Vermont maple making.
The Family Legacy
- 1923 - Great-grandfather Harold started with 50 maple taps
- 1956 - Grandfather Robert expanded to 200 taps and built our first sugarhouse
- 1984 - Father Michael modernized operations while preserving traditional methods
- 2010 - Current generation took over, focusing on sustainable practices and premium quality
Our Commitment
We believe in sustainable forestry practices that ensure our maple groves will thrive for generations to come. Our operations are certified by the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association, and we’re proud members of the North American Maple Syrup Council.
